NT: Survivor of triple road tragedy in stable condition
The sole survivor of a head-on collision which killed three tourists near Uluru isdue to undergo surgery today.
The 19-year-old Japanese man is now said to be in a satisfactory condition with two broken legs.
The man's van and an Italian couple's car collided on the Lasseter Highway near theYulara tourist community in Central Australia yesterday.
A male Japanese passenger in the van and a 28-year-old Italian male passenger in thecar died instantly, while the 26-year-old female driver of the car died a few hours later.
